This part of the site introduces you to who Matt is. It really has very little to do with his work as a voice over talent or a web site designer (except nearer to the end). So if you are interested in skipping straight to those parts of the site, please use the links on the left to get you out of here, or follow these links:
As for Matt, he graduated from Duke University in 1998 with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy. His love of the environment and wildlife has been his guiding interest in life. "Working to spread the word about the wonders that this natural world has for us, as well as what people are doing to destroy this planet" can pretty much sum up Matt's work experience to date.

This work experience includes working as an environmental education specialist at Genessee Valley Outdoor Learning Center, as well as being a full-time staff member of the Community Outreach and Online Communications Departments of World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Bringing this conservation ethic to all that he does, Matt hopes to lessen the footprint of people on this earth - somehow - in his lifetime.

Matt is also an avid traveler. He has been to many different countries, and hopes to see many more. He feels the tourism industry has been, and will continue to be a major influence in the preservation of the world's natural resources. By boosting the ecotourism industry, people will not only learn more about these wonderful places (and thus fight harder to maintain them), but this will also help provide a replacement revenue for jobs that are lost in the mining, logging and ranching industries, as well as others.
But Matt is not all business. An avid backpacker and photographer, he has trekked many trails in this country and others, and has the pictures to prove it. He was an assistant photographer in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. (To see some of his studio work, please take a look at the Smithsonian Institution's Human Origins web site. Yes, he took pictures of skulls.) Matt brings this sense of fun to every project he tackles, which is why has decided to begin working for as many people as he can. This way, he can spread himself out - to have as much fun with as many people as possible. A lofty goal perhaps, but one worth trying!

And it is this sense of fun which Matt can bring to your project as well. (See, I told you I would tie all this together. I am just surprised you made it this far...). In a nutshell, Matt is professional, prompt and detail oriented, and fun to work with.
Feel free to look around this site to learn more, and then contact Matt once you learn why he is perfect to help you in your next project.
"I want to learn more about Voice Overs" OK, I'll take you there.
"Actually, I need a Web site designed" You've come to the right place.
"That's all I need to know" Time to contact Matt then.
