I figured she’d win. But how do you know she didn’t just get her coworkers to vote for her in exchange for doughnuts? Dang. Now you have me thinking about doughnuts…

The way to do it is to somehow spend it on your wife where you’re really spending on yourself as well. For instance, combine two of the things on the list by taking your wife out to an amazing meal at a fabulous restaurant. For $500 plus a bit, maybe The Inn At Little Washington, for a romantic weekend?
